This Chester Bennington piece is part of The Faces That Shaped Me collection. He was one of those voices that cracked something open in me growing up. The heartbreak, the anger, the healing, the hope. His music was my lifeline during the messiest chapters of my life and also the moments where I needed to be strong and push through. So making this collage felt like a full circle moment and a way to honor the kid in me who blasted Linkin Park to survive.
 
The original was made on a black painted background with layers of ripped paper and white paint marker details. It is gritty and emotional in the best way. It has that I went through hell and somehow made it out kind of energy that Chester always carried in his voice. I wanted it to feel raw and human and real.
